Rich Criss to present organ concert

Rich Criss, ministry coordinator of Emmanuel Reformed Church, 202 E. Morris St. in Morrison, will present an organ concert “The Hymns We Love!” at 2 p.m. Sept. 9 at the church.

Criss will perform this hour-long concert on the church’s 2010 Allen Quantum four-manual, 79-stop organ. He will be joined by pianist Julia Deter on the sanctuary’s grand piano as they present two special numbers as piano-organ duets. The audience also will join together to sing “How Great Thou Art” during the concert.

Rich Criss was the director of music for 13 years at First United Methodist Church in DeKalb, before serving at Emmanuel.
