Additional retail, housing on agenda for Sycamore

SYCAMORE – A new business and more townhouses could come to Sycamore.

The Sycamore City Council will consider the addition of a ladies’ fashion and apparel store to the downtown area and the expansion of townhouse units at Camden Crossing during tonight’s meeting at 7 p.m. in the Sycamore Center.

Shop In Style, the business seeking a downtown spot, would lease a roughly 400-square-foot space in the Sycamore Center next to Sycamore Antiques. The start-up specialty clothing store would operate on a by-appointment basis or periodic hours.
