Jimmy Sam’s keeps it fresh, close to home

SANDWICH – No stranger to the restaurant business, Jimmy Falaris has opened Jimmy Sam’s at 1 S. Main St., next door to Knucklehedz.

“We’ve had other locations - by Lake Holiday, in Norway, Somonauk. I just wanted to add something to the downtown Sandwich area,” Falaris said. He said he looked at other sites around Sandwich, but the Main Street location came available at the right time.

Falaris said the thing potential customers should know about his food is that he makes everything from scratch. “Well, I don’t make the condiments ... you know, ketchup and mustard, things like that,” he said with a grin.
