Sandwich woman
faces 3 felony charges

The Sandwich woman who told police Tuesday that a police impersonator beat and raped her is being charged with making a false police report.

Annette C. Brown, of Sandwich, was charged Friday with three felony counts of disorderly conduct. A warrant was issued for Brown’s arrest, with bond set at $10,000.

About 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Kendall County Sheriff’s
deputies responded to the area of Griswold Springs Road west of Little Rock Road in unincorporated Plano, where a 33-year-old Sandwich woman told police she was driving when she was pulled over by a man wearing a blue police, fire or security type uniform.
