Cortland Summer Festival
keeps rockin’ in its third year

CORTLAND – What started out as a fall parade in Cortland has grown into a summer festival being celebrated for the third year this weekend.

Cortland Summer Fest 2012 kicked off Friday evening with food vendors, a beer garden and southern rock band Shooter. It continues today with more live performances, a Cruzin’ Wheels car show, 50/50 raffle, silent auction and fireworks at dusk.

The Cortland Community Library also plans to offer free children’s games and activities from 1 to 6 p.m. today in an area separate from the beer garden.
