Sprinklers put fire out
at Right Pointe plant

DeKALB – A fire at a company on Harvestore Drive caused $20,000 in damage, fire officials said Tuesday.

DeKalb firefighters were called about 10:15 p.m. Monday for a fire at the Right Pointe concrete plant in the 200 block of Harvestore Drive, according to a news release from the DeKalb Fire Department.

Firefighters found smoke coming from the building and discovered that the building’s sprinkler system had put out the fire, which originated at the top of a product-mixing tank.
