Church provides patio for seniors

Seniors who participate in the Adult Day Service program at Fox Valley Older Adult Services have a new patio area where they can enjoy spending time outside on nice days. The patio was provided by two area groups: Tabernacle of the Congregation Church and Miller Sealcoating.

The fence itself and many flower planters were donated by the Tabernacle of the Congregation Church that meets at the Fox Valley Community Center in Sandwich at 10 a.m. Sundays.

David Cooper, pastor of the church, worked with Eric Light, Chris Assell and Ben Assell to construct the gated fence surrounding the patio. This will provide a safe, protected area where clients participating in the Adult Day Service program can enjoy being outdoors while participating in the program.
