Pay-It-Forward
House celebrates grant, milestone

SYCAMORE – The Pay-It-Forward House will be able to celebrate “10,000 nights of rest” with a $6,500 grant from the Monsanto Fund.

Executive Director Jea Nae Remala said the money will go to replace many items around the house that need replacing after seven years’ worth of wear and tear.

“After seven years of use here at the house, our beds, bed linens, towels and some other items in the house are in need of replacement,” Remala said. “We need to do some repainting, some [replastering] repair and some other minor repairs in the house.”
