County Board to restart administrator search
DeKALB – The DeKalb County Board will restart its search for the next county administrator at a special board meeting Wednesday.
After failing to find a candidate impressive enough to succeed retiring County Administrator Ray Bockman, County Board members will consider hiring an outside search firm to spearhead the process during the special meeting. Board members had canceled the July board meeting and most committee meetings to save money.
“We had good candidates, but not as good as we wanted,” said board Chairman Larry Anderson, R-Malta.
