Sycamore Middle School football camp next week
Football camp equipment for incoming Sycamore seventh- and eighth-grade football players can be picked up at Sycamore Middle School from 10 a.m. to noon Friday. Camp will be at the high school from July 16 to 19.

Four NIU women’s golfers earn academic honors
Four Northern Illinois women’s golfers were named to the National Golf Coaches Association Division I All-American Scholar Team, NIU announced Monday.

Senior Kelsie Passolt, junior Allie Parthie and freshmen Taylor Ellett and Casey LaBarbera joined 581 other women’s golfers on the team.

To be selected to the NGCA All-American Scholar Team, student-athletes must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 and compete in at least 50 percent of the school’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.

Kish karate club members compete in AAU National Championships
Three students from the Kishwaukee College Continuing Education Karate Club competed in the AAU National Championships over the weekend at Pheasant Run in St. Charles.
