Quinn signs 3 laws for
veterans on Fourth of July

DES PLAINES – Gov. Pat Quinn used the Fourth of July holiday to sign three laws that affect access to jobs, state programs and benefits for more than 800,000 Illinois veterans.

Quinn signed the legislation into law Wednesday at the Des Plaines Fourth of July parade.

“It is fitting that today, we announce important new laws that will make sure our heroes receive the services they need here at home,” Quinn said in a statement.
