More than 90,000 still without power
CHICAGO – Thousands of residents are still without power in northern Illinois, and officials with Commonwealth Edison said it could take several days to restore service.
About 250,000 ComEd customers were left in the dark at the height of the outages after a storm swept through Chicago and its suburbs, knocking down trees and power lines.
ComEd said about 93,000 customers remain without power late Monday morning.
