DeKalb car fire causes $85,000 in damage
DeKALB – A person was treated for smoke inhalation after a car fire that left two buildings damaged Sunday in DeKalb.
DeKalb firefighters responded about 11:20 p.m. to the 300 block of Pond Street for a car on fire; the fire also had spread to the garage, according to a news release from the DeKalb Fire Department.
Firefighters extinguished the fire and stopped it from spreading to the home, getting it under control within a half hour.
