Letter: Happy son is coming home
To the Editor:
I want to share my happy news. My son is coming home on July 4 after a year of deployment in Afghanistan.
His name is Yaroslav Sobal, he is a Specialist in the Army’s 172nd Infantry Brigade. He was stationed in Southeast Afghanistan at a small outpost, where his unit’s mission was to train the local police force and block the movement of weapons from Pakistan to Afghanistan by the Taliban.
