Double honors for Rotarian Stice
Eric Stice received a dual honor from the Sycamore Rotary Club. He was named the recipient of its annual Rotarian of the Year Award shortly before being sworn in as club president for 2012-13.
Stice was recognized during the Sycamore Rotary Club’s annual installation dinner on June 23 at the Jane Fargo Restaurant in downtown Sycamore. He was cited for his work on behalf of the Rotary Foundation, which provides funding for a variety of Rotary-sponsored efforts around the world, and for his many contributions to Sycamore Rotary projects.
The installation dinner also saw the induction of Sycamore Rotarian Robert Hammon as the governor of Rotary District 6420, which covers counties in the northern tier of Illinois. Hammon, the former superintendent of Sycamore School District 427, will oversee nearly 50 Rotary Clubs with about 2,200 members.
