DHS, 3M partnership starts with a tray

DeKALB – The school year is over, but the partnership between DeKalb High School and 3M is just beginning.

DHS students designed and built more than 50 convenience trays for 3M employees to place their phones, personal computers and other small items while operating a forklift.

Industrial arts teacher David Elliott said eight to 10 students went through the entire production process.
