KC center hosts Fun Fridays

The Early Childhood Center at Kishwaukee College will host “Fun Fridays” from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. July 13 and July 20. Area families who would like to learn more about the Early Childhood Center are invited to stop by to enjoy a snack, tour the ECC and check out the new playground, which features a tree house climber, a large sandbox with magnetic wall, musical instruments, a riding path, and a playhouse.

Because of parking lot reconstruction that is currently in progress, visitors are asked to enter in the College’s “B” entrance, park in the KEC parking lot, and walk across the ECC’s front lawn to access the ECC.

The ECC provides early care and education for children between the ages of 2 and 5 in its two spacious classrooms and outdoor learning environment. The ECC is now taking applications for the fall semester, which begins Aug. 27.
