DeKalb man arrested in connection with fight
SYCAMORE – A DeKalb man arrested Friday remains in the county jail on $70,000 bond stemming from a charge of mob action.
Darris J. Flores, 19, of the 100 block of Gurler Street in DeKalb, was arrested Friday on a warrant for mob action related to a fight that occurred about 6:30 p.m. June 12 in the 800 block of Kimberly Drive, said DeKalb police Lt. Gary Spangler.
Police spoke with witnesses after a large fight broke out; the offenders had left the area by that time, Spangler said. The investigation led to the arrest of Flores, and additional arrests are expected.
