SYCAMORE – A DeKalb man arrested Friday remains in the county jail on $70,000 bond stemming from a charge of mob action.
Darris J. Flores, 19, of the 100 block of Gurler Street in DeKalb, was arrested Friday on a warrant for mob action related to a fight that occurred about 6:30 p.m. June 12 in the 800 block of Kimberly Drive, said DeKalb police Lt. Gary Spangler.
Police spoke with witnesses after a large fight broke out; the offenders had left the area by that time, Spangler said. The investigation led to the arrest of Flores, and additional arrests are expected.
Flores also faces charges of aggravated battery, unlawful use of a weapon, criminal trespass to real property, resisting arrest and possession of marijuana. When police located Flores on Friday and placed him under arrest, he resisted and possessed marijuana and a throwing star, Spangler said.
