First Congregational sets annual barbecue

First Congregational Church, 615 N. First St. in DeKalb, will host its 31st annual Eat-in or Drive-Through Pork Chop & Chicken Barbecue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 1.

Cost for a one-piece meal is $9. An additional piece of meat costs $3. A hot dog meal costs $5.

All meals come with applesauce, coleslaw and baked beans. For those interested in dessert, the church’s youth group will hold a bake sale.

All proceeds will benefit DeKalb County charities. The event will be held rain or shine.
