Crouch: KEC interviewing for vacant positions

Hall of Fame and legendary college basketball coach Bobby Knight once said: “You don’t win by out-jumping, out-rebounding or out-shooting the other team. You win with people. People working together toward a common goal.”

With summer comes personnel changes at all educational facilities. Staff and administrators retire, change professions or leave for other opportunities. Here at Kishwaukee Education Consortium, one of the goals of our strategic plan is to hire a qualified and strong teaching staff.

Recently, we have been interviewing for positions that are vacant and newly created. As administration discusses the type of employee we are looking for and the best way to evaluate candidates, we always reflect on coach Knight’s comment about people.
