NIU graduate student’s book helps grieving fathers
DeKALB – Not every Father’s Day is a celebration of family time, cookouts and golfing.
For men such as Kelly Farley, Father’s Day is a painful reminder of what was lost too soon.
Farley, a graduate student in counseling at Northern Illinois University, has authored a book titled “Grieving Dads: To the Brink and Back,” chronicling his experience losing a son and daughter to fetal anomalies and the stories of other men who lost their children.
