Letter: Do the research on the class warfare going on

To the Editor:

As the pendulum of political climate swings, the diminishing standard of living for the middle class continues.

A large part of an effort to reduce benefits and pay for middle-class workers – including the attack on unions both public and private – tells us that management, the upper-class earners and the super rich are in the driver’s seat. The money power and the “good old boy” connections in government are real.

I recently checked on the sources of financial support for a nearby congressman and found he had support of a billionaire through several smaller so-called “watchdog” organizations funded by that billionaire.

I encourage everyone to research for themselves – online and through other literature – the influence of the super rich of American class warfare on middle society.

In your research, do not be prejudiced by the fact that the Supreme Court of our nation decided that a corporation is a person who may contribute hundreds of millions of dollars to favorite political funds.
