Wisconsin woman charged with drug-induced homicide
SYCAMORE — A woman has been charged with drug-induced homicide after police say she provided heroin to a DeKalb man who died of an overdose in 2009.
Yashica L. McDowell, 33, of Beloit, Wis., was charged with drug-induced homicide, a Class X felony punishable by up to 30 years in prison.
According to court documents, McDowell delivered heroin to DeKalb resident John Kirk in June 2009. Kirk later died of a heroin overdose.
