Mumford & Sons ‘Road’ tour includes Dixon
Mumford & Sons are coming to Page Park in Dixon.
The popular London-based folk rock band will stop by Dixon on Aug. 18 as part of its Gentlemen of the Road tour. A maximum of 15,000 tickets will be sold, Dixon Main Street Executive Director Josh Albrecht said.
The reason for choosing towns like Dixon – the three other stops are Portland, Maine; Bristol, which straddles Virginia and Tennessee; and Monterey, Calif. – is “partly selfish,” band member Ben Lovett said.
