Stott: Lessons learned from grandpa
I’ve been trying very hard to remember the last conversation I had with my grandpa.
I remember where we were. It was the heart and vascular intensive care unit of the Loyola University Medical Center.
The details also are very clear. My grandpa was in the hospital bed, exhausted from procedures and switching rooms and visits from doctors.
