Little Ten all-conference baseball team

Hinckley-Big Rock and Indian Creek had two players named to the Little Ten all-conference baseball team announced by the league Wednesday while Somonauk had three and Hiawatha had one.

Senior Cory Bradburn (.304 average, 11 stolen bases, 7-1 record with 1.18 ERA) and junior catcher Mitch Ruh (.526 average, 34 RBIs and 31 runs) were the Royals' selections. For Indian Creek, senior pitcher/first baseman Ivan Harvell (.294 average, 24 RBIs, 4-1 record with 2.28 ERA) and junior pitcher/outfielder Dillon Martenson (.300 average, 22 RBIs, 28 steals, 2-3 record) were selected.

Hiawatha freshman Will Corn was chosen after hitting .585 with five home runs, 37 RBIs, 10 steals and 29 runs scored.

For Somonauk, senior shortstop Danny Heerhold (.406 average, 31 steals), senior outfielder Brandon Kramer (.390 average, 44 RBIs, 18 steals) and senior pitcher Jake Krischel (9-0, 2.78 ERA) made the team.
