Health department makes board changes

Sycamore attorney Kevin Buick was named president of the 2012 DeKalb County Board of Health.

Buick, an attorney at Foster & Buick Law Group LLC, has practiced law in DeKalb County since 1990. He serves as the attorney for the villages of Kingston, Malta and Maple Park and advises the city of Sycamore’s plan commission, fire and police commission and liquor commissioner. He also advises the town of Cortland and works with a number of other public bodies. He is an alternate zoning hearing officer for DeKalb County and serves on nonprofit boards including DeKalb County Community Foundation, Sycamore Chamber of Commerce, and, starting this summer, Pay It Forward House.

Paul Stoddard was named vice president and Todd Latham was named secretary.
