G-K’s Price, Lucca named to all-BNC baseball team

Genoa-Kingston had two players named to the all-Big Northern Conference baseball team Wednesday. Junior pitcher Adam Price and junior infielder Mason Lucca earned the honor. Richmond-Burton’s EJ Trapino was named the pitcher of the year.

McCarty to compete in D-III national championships

Ace McCarty, a Genoa-Kingston alumnus and sophomore at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, will be competing in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Claremont, Calif., on Friday. He posted a clearance of 6 feet, 9 inches in the high jump to post the 12th-best mark in the nation entering the meet.
