Members of the Maple Park American Legion Post 312 recently elected new officers for the 2012-2013 year.

The newly elected officers are Don Grillo of Campton Hills as post commander, John Quillman of Cortland as senior vice commander, Robert Neisendorf of Virgil as junior vice commander and Richard Hedland of Campton Hills as sergeant at arms. The new officers will be sworn in at the June 12 meeting.

As the newly elected commander, Grillo has appointed Army Korean War veteran Toby Reynolds of Sycamore as post adjutant, Air Force Vietnam era veteran Tom Dowd of Campton Hills as finance officer, Army Vietnam era veteran Stan Schumacher of Sugar Grove as service officer and Marine Korean War veteran Ed Strobel of St. Charles as chaplin.
