The Sycamore baseball team hit back-to-back-to-back home runs on Monday against Morris, but lost, 12-7.
Davey Scholz, Alec Kozak and Mitchell Jordan hit home runs one after the other, but on a day with 30 mph winds blowing out, the game featured seven home runs. Sycamore (7-6, 1-3 Northern Illinois Big 12 Conference) starter Matt Godinsky gave up four home runs in the loss.
“We had chances in all the other innings,” Sycamore coach Jason Cavanaugh said.
