McCullough accuser didn't want charges
DeKalb County State’s Attorney Clay Campbell charged a former Sycamore resident with rape more than 50 years after the alleged abuse occurred – despite the accuser saying she did not wish the case go forward.
In an interview Friday, Jeanne Tessier said she is sad that her life was “hijacked for what I knew was futile.”
Jack D. McCullough, 72, was found not guilty Thursday of one count of rape and four counts of indecent liberties with a child.
