DeKalb alum and Illinois State redshirt freshman center Jordan Threloff will miss the Missouri Valley Conference tournament because of a broken thumb, the school announced today.
Threloff will miss 4-6 weeks after getting his thumb tangled in a teammate's jersey at Tuesday's practice. Threloff had played in all 30 games this season and was averaging 3.2 points and 3.3 rebounds.
"I feel badly for the team," ISU coach Tim Jankovich said in a news release. "No one wants to go into a conference tournament without your entire team. I feel even worse for Jordan, because he doesn't get the opportunity to play in his first conference tournament. He has been coming on for us as of late, and has been playing really well."
