DeKalb guard broke nose three weeks ago

DeKalb senior guard Brian Sisler will play tonight against rival Sycamore without the protective face mask he's worn to protect a broken nose. Sisler broke his nose three weeks ago against Galesburg, and had struggled with the mask.

"I really wasn't playing too well with it on," Sisler said at Wednesday's practice at the Convocation Center. "I don't like blaming it on that, but now if I play bad, I don't have anything to blame it on."

Sisler said his nose was fine.
