DeKalb freshman running back Dre Brown clocked a 4.85-second time in the 40-yard dash at the Proving Ground National Combine on Monday in Phoenix.

Brown was one of 300 high school football players – and only four freshmen – from around the country selected for the combine, which was nationally televised on CBS Sports Network. Brown’s time was run in cleats and on natural grass, with 5-10 mph winds.
