To the Editor:

I would like to thank all the people who helped make the Bluegrass Gospel Jam benefit for Hope Haven a success Nov. 20.

Thanks to all the local businesses in DeKalb and Sycamore for donating items to our raffle and silent auction. Thanks to the bluegrass bands, the people who attended and made this event a success, Elizabeth Carney for all her hard work – I couldn’t have done this without all of you.

To my pastor, Dan Stovall, and my church, Sycamore Baptist, for supporting me, thank you.

Jan Waters
