Now that DeKalb 7th Ward Alderman Brent Keller has resigned from the City Council, the city is going to need to re-PhotoShop its council photo on its Web site.

Did you see what happened to the photo after Victor Wogen resigned in December? If not, it is published here. The city cut Wogen out from the photo and replaced him with a black silhouette. I only can assume the city will update the photo with a second silhouette.

So, it looks like Mayor Povlsen will need to appoint another alderman – his second this year. Given the transparency in which the 3rd Ward opening was conducted in, we'll get our Freedom of Information Act requests written now for the 7th Ward opening.
