Castle Bank announces that Sharon Stefani, administrative assistant at the DeKalb main branch, celebrated her 40th anniversary with the company on Saturday.

Stefani graduated from DeKalb High School and attended Northern Illinois University. She has lived and worked in DeKalb for more than 40 years. Throughout her employment with Castle Bank, Stefani gained experience in numerous areas including personal banking, loans and mortgage.

“I can truly say my biggest achievement in my 40 years at Castle Bank has been all the wonderful people I have worked with, and the friendships I have made and kept over the years,” Stefani said in a recent news release

“Sharon’s years of service are truly special,” said Castle Bank president and CEO Tim Struthers. “She has seen significant changes in staff, technology, customers, markets, economies, etc. over her 40 years.

“Sharon has always been deeply caring about others and has been honorable in all ways during her career. Customers and employees count on her everyday to make banking a matter of personal touch and she delivers.

“We are proud of Sharon and fortunate to have her as a member of the Castle team for 40 years.”
