Wolfe earns all-decade honor

Garrett Wolfe might be three years removed from his playing days at Northern Illinois, but the former Huskie great is still earning collegiate accolades.

CBSSports.com released its Mid-American Conference All-Decade Team, which was voted on by the writers and staff at the Web site, and named Wolfe its Offensive Player of the Decade. Wolfe's career was highlighted by a career-best 1,928 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2006 and finished his career with 5,136 yards with 84 touchdowns.

Wolf was joined by fellow former Huskie, and current Atlanta Falcons running back, Michael Turner (2000-03) on the all-decade team. Offensive lineman Doug Free, who played for the Huskies in 2003 until 2006 before being drafted by the Dallas Cowboys, and defensive end Larry English, a 2009 first-round draft pick by the San Diego Chargers, also made the list.
