June 29 Warrant arrest - Steven M. Rosenberg, 21, of Sycamore was arrested around 1:15 p.m. on a failure-to-appear warrant for undisclosed charges. Police arrested him in the 800 block of DeKalb Avenue. Driving without a license - Meliton Cervantes, 20, of Crystal Lake was charged around 2:20 a.m. with driving without a license and improper lane use. The car was pulled over in the 2700 block of DeKalb Avenue. June 30 Possession of drug equipment - Carolyn S. Whitesel, 22, of DeKalb was charged around 5:15 a.m. in the 400 block of Center Cross Street with possession of drug equipment and driving with a suspended license. July 1 Illegal transportation of alcohol - Police officers reportedly saw two people carrying open containers of alcohol around 1:10 a.m. in the 100 block of West Elm Street. The two entered a vehicle with the open containers and drove away, police said. The vehicle was pulled over in the 100 block of North Maple Street. After an investigation, Matthew John Duncan, 23, of Kirkland was charged with illegal transportation of alcohol, driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance. Amy M. Wille, 21, of Rockford was cited for illegal transportation of alcohol. Driving without registration - Salvatore Storaci, 27, of Sycamore was charged around 7:25 p.m. with violating classification of a motorcycle, driving without registration, driving without insurance, speeding and improper lane use. He was pulled over in the 500 block of East State Street. July 2 Driving without a license - Antonio Contreras Quintos, 31, of DeKalb was charged around 5:30 p.m. with driving without a license, driving without insurance and driving without registration. He was pulled over in the 110 block of South Prairie Drive, near Borden Avenue, when an officer reportedly saw his registration was expired. Driving with a suspended license - Nick E. Havel, 32, of DeKalb was charged around 5:40 p.m. with driving with a suspended license and speeding. He was pulled over in the 23000 block of Peace Road, near Bethany Road. July 3 Resisting a police officer - Jackie Lee Knight, 49, of Sycamore was charged around 6:25 p.m. with disorderly conduct and resisting a police officer. Police were called to the 100 block of North Maple Street about a disorderly man who reportedly was intoxicated and would not leave a place of business. Police said Knight resisted officers when they attempted to take him into custody. July 4 Domestic battery - Police were called around 6:25 a.m. to the 1300 block of Foxbend Drive about a domestic disturbance. After an investigation, William Andreas Schulthess, 19, of Sycamore was charged with domestic battery, consumption of alcohol by a minor and resisting arrest. July 5 Possession of marijuana - Jose J. Lopez, 22, of DeKalb was cited around 11:25 a.m. for possession of marijuana. During a traffic stop in the 100 block of Somonauk Street, near West Ottawa Street, police reportedly recovered marijuana during a search. Saturday Driving without a license - Daniel Chavez Littlejohn, 25, of DeKalb was charged around 9:50 a.m. with driving without a license. He was pulled over in the 400 block of California Street. Sunday Warrant arrest - Adam B. Mattingly, 25, of Sycamore was arrested around 3:20 p.m. on two outstanding warrants for undisclosed charges. Police went to the 1100 block of South Cross Street on a status check that led to the arrest. Driving without a license - Nicolasa Mendez, 37, of DeKalb was charged around 10:15 p.m. with driving without a license and cited for driving with obstructed front and rear windshields. Police pulled the car over in the 1300 block of West State Road after noticing the reportedly obstructed front and rear windshields. Monday DUI - James A. Huntley, 52, of Sycamore was charged around 12:10 a.m. with driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol content greater than .08, improper lane use, failure to signal and illegal transportation of alcohol. He was pulled over in the 1200 block of Yorkshire Drive after an officer reportedly saw he failed to signal when turning and was not staying within marked traffic lanes.
