Nesbitt Medical Student Foundation Illinois residents accepted for enrollment or regular full-time students attending an approved college of medicine are eligible to apply for a scholarship for the 2004-2005 school year from the Nesbitt Medical Student Foundation. The Foundation was established by the trust estate of Esther Mae Nesbitt, a lifelong resident of Sycamore who died in 1972. More information and application forms are available from the Trust Depart-ment, The National Bank & Trust Company of Sycamore, 230 W. State St., Sycamore, IL 60178 or by calling (815) 895-2125, Ext. 228. All application materials must be received by May 1.

Hoover/Hoehn Scholarship Foundation Graduates of Genoa-Kingston High School are eligible to apply for a scholarship from the Hoover/Hoehn Scholarship Foundation. Scholarships are available for the 2004-2005 school year and range from $2,000 to $4,000 for students enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a duly accredited four-year college or university in Illinois or such other four-year college or university as the trustee approves. More information and application forms are available through the Genoa-Kingston High School Guidance Department or by writing the Hoover/Hoehn Scholarship Foundation, c/o Trust Department, The National Bank & Trust Company of Sycamore, 230 W. State St., Sycamore, IL 60178. All application materials must be received by March 15.

Lorene Brown Scholarship Foundation Graduates of Genoa-Kingston High School are eligible to apply for a scholarship through the Lorene Brown Scholarship Foundation. Scholarships will be available for the 2004-2005 school year for students enrolled or accepted for enrollment at Northern Illinois University or the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in either undergraduate or graduate programs. Since its inception in 1993, the Foundation has awarded a total of $105,500 in scholarships. The Foundation was created by Lorene Brown, a lifelong resident of Genoa. Brown, who died in November 1995, was a 1920 graduate of the University of Illinois. More information and application forms are available through the Guidance Department of the Genoa-Kingston High School, the financial aid offices of Northern Illinois University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, or by writing the Lorene Brown Scholarship Foundation, c/o The National Bank & Trust Company of Sycamore, Trust Department, 230 W. State St., Sycamore, IL 60178. All application materials must be received by the bank by May 15.

Chris and Katherine Boulos Foundation Graduates of Sycamore and DeKalb high schools are eligible to apply for a scholarship through the Chris and Katherine Boulos Foundation. Scholarships are available for the 2004-2005 academic year for students enrolled or accepted for enrollment as full-time students at Kish-waukee College. Since its inception in 1993, the Found-ation has awarded a total of $693,750 in scholarships. More information and application forms are available through the Guidance Departments of the Sycamore and DeKalb high schools and the financial aid office of KC or by writing to The Chris and Katherine Boulos Foundation, c/o The National Bank & Trust Company of Sycamore, 230 W. State St., Sycamore, IL 60178. All application materials must be received by April 1.

Arnold and Mildred Erickson Charitable Foundation Inc. The Arnold and Mildred Erickson Charitable Foundation Inc. is accepting scholarship applications for the 2004-2005 academic year said Michael A. Cullen, president and Chief Executive Officer of The National Bank & Trust Company of Sycamore, Agent for the Foundation. The Foundation provides scholarships both for students attending Waubonsee Community College and those attending a four-year college or university. The Arnold and Mildred Erickson Waubonsee Scholarship is available to residents of Kaneland School District 302 enrolled or accepted for enrollment at WCC and major in the cultural or manual arts. The Arnold and Mildred Erickson Undergraduate Scholarship is available to graduates of Kaneland High School enrolled or accepted for enrollment at a duly accredited four-year college or university. The Foundation was created by Mildred Erickson in order to further her charitable interests in Elburn and the surrounding area. Since the Foundation's inception in 1997, a total of $448,300 in scholarships have been awarded.
